In their January 2010 publication “Trinity Topics,” the church told their Congregation:
“Rock Point Navajo Lutheran Mission: We received a thank you for the $2090.46 we sent them of which $1000.00 was a match from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
Our two sponsored children have sent us Thanksgiving cards.
Look on the bulletin board in Beilstein Hall to see their colorful hand made cards.
In the Mission’s recent letter, it was reported that renovations have been made to some of the Missions facilities including the “House of Prayer”.
The Health Clinic (closed for several years) re-opened in September with volunteer Nurse Practitioners so that they are able to provide more services to the Navajo people.”
