The August 2009 pdf newsletter states:
“Our mission project for this year was the Navajo Lutheran Mission in Rock Point, AZ.
The mission serves the Navajo people through providing schooling for ages K-6, health care clinic, and a thrift store.
The children brought in coins on Monday-Thursday and dollar bills on Friday.
We collected over $800.00 dollars for the mission.”
